Mia, True Black Huacaya female, born June 1998. Her sire is McIntosh and her dam is Sophia Vilubio. Mia was originally from Alpacas de la Patagonia and was chosen for her exceptionally strong, straight conformation and her glossy blue-black fleece. Proven, excellent mother, nice head, black to the tips, with no sunburning.   She was bred to Sinopsis Nocturna, Patagonia's famous black stud and had a true black male, Gusto. In 2003 and 2004, she was bred to our other Blue Ribbon holder, Polaris (for conformation and fleece, Calpaca Show) and delivered two dark curly males. They both have solid color, great dense fiber with lots of crimp. Her Victor is a Color Champion!!  Her cria, Juanito, sired by Polaris, was born on 9/14/2007.        $ 12,500.

Pperuvian Impatiens, White, Huacaya proven female, born in 1994. Her sire is unknown and her dam is Peruvian Anticalla. She is the grand dam of our herd and definitely the alpha female. Her conformation is near perfect, heavy boned, and great teeth still at age 11. She has held her fineness of fleece, is very healthy and an excellent mother. She's had easy births and has plenty of milk. Her first cria was Snowmass Braveheart, a first place winner at AOBA 1997. She delivered RicoDavid on 4/11/07. PorterBray Pines Miguel is a sweet boy. He is medium brown with a little darker brown on his face and loves to eat pellets from your hand. His sire is Hemingway's Polaris and his dam is Snowmass Estancia. He has a clean face, a thick top knot, and very straight legs. He has beautiful, thick long fleece. Miguel pastures well with the other boys. Potential herdsire at an excellent price. 2nd Place Fleece, Monterey Pronk, 2006 and 4th Place Halter, Monterey Pronk. He also received 5th place in fleece and a 4th in halter class at the 2005 AlpacaFestWest.
